First step is a physical survey of your residence. During the survey we estimate the volume as well as how much material, crew etc. needed.
Then we give you an estimate which ensures that all elements regarding your removal are included. The survey is free and of course not binding.
Q Transport usually packs your household goods, however, you are of course welcome to pack items yourself.
This is a good time for most of our customers to go through their belongings and evaluate what to move, what to throw out etc.
Please note that fragile items such as glass, china, pictures etc. should be packed by Q Transport because of insurance reasons.
Q Transport fills out a complete inventory list with a description of your household goods.
Hereby we ensure that you receive all your household goods in the same condition as when we moved them from your current residence.
If you move within Europe, but outside of the European Union’s borders Q Transport can also take care of the necessary customs papers.
Q Transport is part of a Worlwide Removal & Relocation organisations.
We have more than 200 removal agents available all over the world and most likely there is also one near your area.
Please note that we also offer removals within Europe on a combination basis.
This means that we move your household goods together with the household goods of other customers, who are moving to the same area.
This lowers the costs and thereby we are able to offer competitive prices on your move.
You should contact Q Transport for a survey about 1-2 months prior to your move.
The removal itself should be arranged as early as possible, so we are able to reserve the right packing and removal crew for your removal.
Normally most of our customers want to move around the 15th or the 1st of a month. Consequently we may be fully booked if you order your removal too late.
Insurance - is it really necessary?
Is the moving company responsible for my household goods when they are handling it?
The answer is YES we are
Do I need an insurance of my household goods during the removal? The answer is YES you do.

If we are dealing with an international removal,and a damage occurs you expect a full financial compensation.
The only way that you can be certain that such financial compensation is possible, is by taking out our all risk insurance.
However, the responsibility has a financial limitation to it.
You probably have contents insurance. Is that insurance necessary? If you have a house you probably have comprehensive house insurance.
Is that insurance necessary? Of course it is, you insure yourself against the unpredictable. Things can go wrong. Accidents can happen.
Therefore you should insure your household goods during transportation from home to home.
